Why did you choose your specific health professional career? I choose Business Administration as a path to want to become a CEO for one of the Indian Health Service hospitals. My mom was an administrator. She worked her way up from supply all the way up to administrator officer for the Rosebud Service Unit in Rosebud, South Dakota.

The University of Arizona College of Medicine Admissions and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion offers a Mock MMI workshop for pre-health students who are applying to medical school. Applications open July 1st and close on July 28th. The workshop will be held on August, 13th.

Why did you choose your specific health professional career? As a young teen, I was exposed to the world of physical therapy when a close friend of mine injured her knee.

What experiences did you have to make sure this profession was right for you? I changed my career choice as a result of my experience as a volunteer at a local hospital, where I actually saw what the duties of nurses and doctors were on a day to day basis.

Why did you choose your specific health professional career? I always knew that I wanted to work in the health field. I had to choose between nursing and dentistry.
