The Four Corners Alliance-AAIP Pre-Admission Workshop (PAW) is now accepting applications for 2025! PAW’s mission is to increase the number of highly qualified American Indian and Alaska Native (AIAN) medical school applicants by providing essential insights, mentorship, and resources. Our program offers an overview of the medical school journey, equipping you with knowledge about the application process and available financial and campus resources to support your preparation for medical school.
How to Apply:
Submit a complete application by November 22, 2024. Applications will be reviewed once all supporting documents are received.
Pre-Application Checklist:
- Personal Statement: Upload a one-page, single-spaced statement discussing how your background and experiences have influenced your motivation to pursue a career in medicine and how PAW can help you achieve your goals. Include your interest in addressing the unique health challenges faced by Native American and Alaska Native communities.
- Letter of Recommendation: One letter from a professor, counselor, employer, tribal elder, or community leader familiar with your achievements.
- Unofficial College Transcript(s): Upload all relevant transcripts.
