The Department of Psychology, in conjunction with the College of Medicine Office of Diversity and Inclusion, is pleased to announce the University of Arizona Summer Institute for Behavioral Health (UA-SIBH).
The UA-SIBH is an intensive four-week educational program for underrepresented undergraduate students to explore and prepare for behavioral health careers. Selected students will enroll in a Summer Session I or Summer Session II course that provides clinical and research experiences in psychology and allied disciplines. A major focus will be on preparation for graduate school while also providing “real world” experience in clinics and research labs. Students enrolled in the program will be provided a stipend of $1,800 during the program. Participation requires a full-time commitment for 4 weeks.
